The annual Fee for review of holders of a pilot exemption certificate
(PEC)
For an annual review of whether the holder of a pilot
exemption certificate maintains his qualifications, an annual fee shall be
payable by the holder for the previous year.
The invoice
concerning the annual fee is forwarded to you in the beginning of the year.
The Invoice is based on information from the list of valid pilot exemption
certificates pr. primo January the concerned year
Within the
month of December you should forward information to the Danish Maritime
Authority whether the pilot exemption certificate should be valid in the new
year
Therefore you should draw your attention to the rules
in section 7 and section 8 of the executive order no. 1344 of Order on payment for the tasks performed by the
Danish Maritime Authority as part of the inspection of pilotage assignments,
pilots and pilotage service providers.
Section 7. For
an annual control of whether the holder of a pilot exemption certificate
maintains his qualifications, an annual fee shall be payable by the holder for
the previous year.
Section 8.If payment of services covered by this order is made
too late or not made, the Danish Maritime Authority may charge a reminder fee
of DKK 94,00 for each reminder.
Subsection 2. The amount due may be collected by distraint and may bear interest at
the rate of interest stipulated in the act on interest in case of delayed
payment, etc. (lov
